Program Description
The Air Conditioning Technology Program concentrates on teaching students how to design, build, and maintain advanced climate control systems, such as heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. This program provides both academic and theory courses along with practical application through hands-on involvement in real-life settings.

Program Description
HVAC* systems are constantly running and are always going to need maintenance and repair. The U.S. Bureau of Labor predicts the HVAC* industry to add 19,000 new installer and technician jobs by 2030.**
This heating, ventilation, air conditioning residential program offers training in all phases of repair and maintenance of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, systems. The HVAC technician program also includes the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certifications in the management of refrigerants and North American Technicians Excellence (NATE) Certifications.

A school externship is a part of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning residential training program and assigns a student to a partnering company for 135 hours, giving the student the opportunity to put his/her new skills to use and gain real-life career training experience. Program Description
Design, build, and maintain climate control systems through hands-on training for a career as a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician. Some of the courses you will take include Basic Refrigeration, Commercial Refrigeration, Cooling and Dehumidification, Heating and Humidification, HVAC Electricity and Electrical Components. You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
